Fleet Suite — Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your data in our mobile applications

Introduction
FleetOS, operated by Bachman Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Fleet Suite mobile applications ("Fleet Suite," "the App"), including the Customer App, Driver App, and any related mobile services available on iOS and Android platforms.
Scope: This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Fleet Suite mobile applications. For our web platform privacy policy, please visit fleetos.com/privacy.
By downloading, installing, or using Fleet Suite, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
Personal Information:
- Full name, email address, and phone number
- Profile photo (optional)
- Company name and business details (for fleet administrators)
- Driver's license information (for Driver App users)
- Payment and billing information (processed by third-party payment providers)
Location Data:
- Foreground location: Used for navigation, ride tracking, and displaying nearby vehicles. Collected only while the App is actively in use.
- Background location (Driver App only): Used for ride assignment, route optimization, and real-time fleet tracking. Collected with your explicit consent and can be disabled at any time through your device settings.
Device Information:
- Device model, operating system, and version
- Unique device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID, device ID)
- Push notification tokens
- App version and build number
- Network information (Wi-Fi, cellular)
Camera and Photo Library:
- Camera access is requested for document uploads (driver's license, vehicle photos, incident reports)
- Photo library access is requested for selecting profile photos and uploading documents
- We do not access your camera or photos without your explicit permission
Usage Data:
- Feature usage patterns and interactions within the App
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
- Session duration and frequency
- Error reports and debugging information
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected through Fleet Suite to:
- Provide and maintain the Fleet Suite mobile application
- Process ride bookings and manage dispatching
- Enable real-time vehicle tracking and navigation
- Calculate driver performance scores and provide coaching
- Send push notifications for ride updates, alerts, and important communications
- Process payments and manage billing
- Improve the App through analytics and crash reporting
- Ensure safety and security of rides and users
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes
- Communicate with you about service updates and changes
Third-Party Services & SDKs
Fleet Suite integrates with the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
- Google Maps SDK: For mapping, navigation, and geocoding. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase (Google): For analytics, crash reporting (Crashlytics), and push notifications (FCM). Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Twilio: For SMS notifications and WhatsApp messaging. Subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy.
- Sentry: For error tracking and performance monitoring. Subject to Sentry's Privacy Policy.
- Payment Processors: For secure payment processing. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these third-party services to understand how they handle your data.
Location Data
Location data is a core part of Fleet Suite's functionality. Here is how we handle it:
Customer App:
- Foreground location only — used to show nearby vehicles and set pickup locations
- Location is collected only while the App is actively open and in use
- You can deny location permission and manually enter addresses instead
Driver App:
- Foreground location — used for navigation and ride tracking
- Background location — used for ride assignment and fleet tracking when you are on-duty
- Background location collection requires your explicit consent
- You can disable background location at any time via your device's Settings > Location Services
- When off-duty, background location collection stops automatically
How to disable: You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Fleet Suite; Android: Settings > Apps > Fleet Suite > Permissions > Location). Disabling location may limit certain features of the App.
Push Notifications
Fleet Suite uses push notifications to deliver:
- Ride booking confirmations and status updates
- Driver assignment and ride request notifications
- Performance alerts and coaching messages
- Payment and billing notifications
- Safety alerts and emergency notifications
- App updates and service announcements
How to opt out: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings (iOS: Settings > Notifications > Fleet Suite; Android: Settings > Apps > Fleet Suite > Notifications). Disabling notifications may cause you to miss important ride updates and safety alerts.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3
- Encryption at rest: Sensitive data stored on our servers is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
- Secure authentication: JWT-based authentication with secure token storage
- Access controls: Role-based access control limits data access to authorized personnel
- Regular audits: Security assessments and penetration testing
- SOC 2 Type II: Our infrastructure is SOC 2 Type II compliant
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in these circumstances:
- Fleet Operators: Your ride data and performance metrics are shared with the fleet operator who manages your account (your employer or service provider)
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party providers who help us operate the App (cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process
- Safety: When necessary to protect the safety of users, the public, or our rights
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Children's Privacy
Fleet Suite is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information from our servers. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@fleetos.com.
International Data Transfers
Fleet Suite is operated from the United Arab Emirates. Your data may be processed and stored in the UAE and other countries where our cloud service providers maintain data centers (including the United States and European Union).
Where data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses and adequate data protection measures in compliance with applicable privacy laws including GDPR and UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
- Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Opt-out: Opt out of certain data processing activities
- Restrict Processing: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

Account & Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. To do so:
- In-App: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account
- By Email: Send a request to privacy@fleetos.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request"
Upon receiving your deletion request, we will process it within 30 days. Your personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems. Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days and in anonymized form for analytics purposes. Data required for legal compliance (such as financial records) may be retained for the legally mandated period.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy within the App, sending a push notification, or emailing you at the address associated with your account. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Your continued use of Fleet Suite after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
